In celebration of Earth Day, which is Friday, April 22th, enliven your home with your own Kokedama and learn the origin of this planting practice. What is a Kokedama, you may be asking? It’s a “moss ball”, a Japanese form of garden art. It’s made by wrapping a plant’s roots with soil, sphagnum sheet moss and string, rather than planting in the ground or a container. Bring gardening gloves (optional).
Fee: $13.50/person Com Rec, $11/Liberty
