Whiting Field boasts an outdoor sports complex with two adjacent and lighted softball fields, two beach volleyball pits, two horseshoe pits, and a six-lane running track surrounding a well-groomed and lighted football field. Covered picnic areas are located on site. A Nature Trail is next to Clear Creek R.V. Park and features a 1.5 mile scenic loop hiking trail and a 9 hole Disc Golf Course. Sandhill Pine Bike and Hike Trail, approximately 10.4 miles long, is a wood chip packed surface course which circumnavigates Whiting Field’s North and South Field perimeter roads.
